Can I bring unregistered guests?
No, the number of people occupying a cottage is strictly limited to those named in the booking. The stated and agreed occupancy figure includes all persons irrespective of age. Cottage occupancy limits applies to day or overnight guests. Exceeding the number of stated and agreed persons, regardless of the stated occupancy limit, may result in immediate eviction without refund, or a charge of up to $250 per guest per night charge at the discretion of Greystone on Golden Lake.
Is the water safe to drink?

Yes, our water potable. Our drilled wells are UV filtered and tested regularly.
Do you rent watercraft when the water is cold?

No, When the water temperature drops below 13ºC we do not provide watercraft.
Where are you located?
​
From Toronto: • Take the 401 east, take exit #436 to merge onto 115 Trans Canada Highway North toward Lindsay/Peterborough. Take a slight right onto highway 7 (Ottawa) in approx. 7km, turn left onto Highway 134 in approx. 100 km, turn left onto Bridge Street West, in approx. 240 km turn left onto Hastings Street North and follow signs for Barry’s Bay. Continue onto route 62 following signs for Whitney/Algonquin Park / Lake Saint Peter. Turn right onto Opeongo Line / Highway 60 following signs for Eganville/Pembroke. In approximately 28km look for the blue Ontario highways sign pointing to Greystone on Golden Lake, turn right onto Mcnee Drive.
From Ottawa: Take the Queensway west, which becomes Highway 17 To Renfrew. Then either: • when you get to Renfrew, go to the third exit ,which is Bruce St, and turn left at the lights. Go into Renfrew to the next set of lights, turn right onto highway 60, then travel on to Douglas, Eganville and finally the village of Golden Lake. About 13km past the village, watch for the blue Ontario highway sign pointing to Greystone on Golden Lake, turn left onto Mcnee Drive.

Do you allow pets?
​
Dogs are allowed in certain cottages with prior approval of management. They must be controlled, on a leash and cleaned up after by the owner. Dogs are not permitted on the beach or swimming pool area. If a dog is disturbing other guests, the owner will be asked to board their pet at a kennel at their own expense. Additional pet fee will be required.
Are you near Algonquin Park?
We are closest to the Basin Lake Access (15 minutes), 50 minutes to Highway 60 Access at Whitney, and an 1 hr 15 to the Sand Lake Gate with the Barron Canyon Trail and rock water slide. We can provide a free Algonquin Park permit for the duration of your stay.
What is your cancellation policy?

Because of our intimate size, cancellations affect us significantly. A last minute cancellation gives us little chance of filling the space due to our remote location. For these reasons, we uphold a strict cancellation policy. We take a 50% deposit with the balance due upon arrival. If a cancellation occurs and we rebook the cottage then you will receive a full refund. If he cottage is not re-rented then the deposit can be use the deposit towards a future stay within the next year.

Do you have WIFI?

Yes. We have free and fast Starlink Wi-Fi.

Are there motor boat rentals in the area?
